Our lids are made with baltic birch, and a flexible black foam gasket. They are stained to your desired color. Dulceria Creations cannot guarantee that species of wood will be identical to photos as supply chains fluctuate. Also color shade may vary depending on species of wood. We will always find a suitable substitute. Please refer to our website header at the top of the page for our most current turn around time as everthing is cut TO ORDER. Dulceria Creations will not be held liable if lids do not fit perfectly; we make an extreme effort to make sure all lids fit snug, and we also conduct quality control throughout the year, HOWEVER it is out of our control if a batch of vessels made by a manufacturer somehow vary in size. It is your responsibility as a buyer to either purchase a sample lid first, or if it is a repeat purchase, be certain that your previous lids fit your new vessels. All gaskets can be slightly off center as they are placed by hand. Edge lightness/darkness can vary from batch to batch. Wood grain is also out of our control since this is a natural product. Sometimes the edges of lids will have tiny holes, if they are big we will do our best to fill them, however if they are tiny we do not fix it, once again wood is natural product and small imperfections are to be expected. We will NOT remake lids if sizing is off. By purchasing our lids you are acknowleding this information. In addition, no two engravings are alike; some are lighter, some are darker. Although we strive for everything to be consistent, wood is a completely natural product and therefore each piece will have it's own qualities and as a result sometimes engrave differently. Wood is also a natural product, so lids may have a slight wood "smell" this is impossible to remove and should be noted. We will engrave EXACTLY the image that is sent/uploaded to us. We do not alter or edit any images. As a buyer, you must be certain there are no errors with your files, as we will not reach out to you to unless we see there is something catastrophically wrong with your image/file. We DO NOT send confirmation images or mock ups, unless you specifically reach out to us after you make your purchase. If you do request a mock up, we will send a DIGITAL mock up of your image. We do not do mock up engravings as this can eat into our inventory. If you want a physical sample lid, we offer sample lids for purchase. You have 24 hours from the time of your purchase to cancel/alter your order.  Lastly, if there is an attempt at communication with you for whatever reason, we will wait a maximum of 72 hours for a response. If that window of time elapses and we have not heard from you, we will proceed with fullfilling your order.
